Telling Carers' Stories
I strongly believe in giving service users a voice, and centralising real people and their stories within comms. I did this in previous projects with other organisations, and have continued to do so in my current role.

I have written blogs sharing perspectives, as well as conducted interviews and produced multimedia audio-visual resources, to share the stories of carers. This has included working with children and following necessary safe-guarding practices. All interviews required consent forms to be filled in, and were only published with express permission from the interviewee.
Blog Posts
I produce blog posts for our website. Story content is gathered through one to one interviews, conducted via zoom.

I am confident in building rapport and working collaboratively with service users to best capture their viewpoint and experiences. These stories have been helpful in explaining our work to partners and commissioners.
YouTube Videos for Carers Week 2023

I was responsible for all aspects of completing the videos below. This included pitching the strategy, devising questions, conducting interviews or organising members of the team to complete them on my behalf, editing the audio, transcribing, making the visuals, uploading to YouTube and the charity website, and promoting the clips on social media.
