Gwenyth Withers
Writer
I am a graduate, having obtained a 1st in English Literature at the University of Sussex. I worked for 6 months within the External Communications Team at Leonard Cheshire, as an Intern and Communications Assistant. I currently work as the Digital Communications Officer for Carers' Hub Lambeth- a small, independent charity in London.

My written work is of a high quality, in both academic and professional contexts. I secured local and national press coverage for my previous work. I have previously contributed to podcast production and national research projects. I write quickly and accurately.

I have also written and designed curricula for young people with special or additional educational needs, and have tutored and taught students aged 4 to 17. I have experience proofreading and editing undergraduate work for students from other institutions, in subjects unrelated to my field. I am a flexible and fast learner, with a good basic understanding of science, politics, and psychology.

I have lived experience of disability and mental health difficulties. I am passionate about these subjects and gladly write and speak on them, in order to improve understanding. I previously joined a workplace panel discussion on the disabled experience, alongside the Leonard Cheshire's CEO and a disability influencer.

Gwenyth supported me to write a cover letter for a new job application. I believe I was given an interview because of the techniques she introduced me to and her final edit.
